While we’re talking about pink foods (did you see yesterday’s post about pink coffee at Starbucks?) I’m sure you’ve heard about “pink slime.”  What exactly have you read?

If you are interested in hearing both sides of this issue, check out Illinois Corn’s response to the ‘pink slime’ here.  And while you’re there, you can hear what the Illinois Beef Association has to say about the issue as well.

Don’t think something like ‘pink slime’ can have two sides?  What if ‘pink slime’ is only very finely textured beef?  You owe it to yourself to check it out.
